The Lemonpeel Angelfish; Marshall Islands, Centropyge flavissimus, features a bright yellow body color with sky blue highlights on the face and outlining the fins and tail. Due to aggression towards other Angelfish they are best kept singly but will do well with other fish.
The Lemonpeel Angelfish requires a 70 gallon or larger aquarium with hiding places and large amounts of live rock to graze on the microalgae growth. They are not reef safe, as they will nip at soft and stony polyp corals, sessile invertebrates and clam mantles.
The diet of the Lemonpeel Angelfish should include spirulina, marine algae, seaweed, high quality angelfish preparations, mysis and brine shrimp, 3 times daily. This angelfish requires more algae and seaweed in its diet than most angels.
